May 2008 saw average gas prices in the United States nearing, and in some places going above, $4.00 per gallon, breaking records. However, this was not at all new to consumers of America. The month of May created a lot of records, and it occurred after months of surging prices. Those who adapted early are making the move to hybrid cars already, and in the end, we all will be traveling on gasoline-free vehicles. |
